I’m from the UK and I know that even though our government is far from perfect, we’re lucky in some respects. I feel so bad for certain parts of America.
These republican candidates are, ironically, ruining their own country. A country they supposedly want to change for the BETTER, when in fact they are doing the complete opposite. Rick Santorum, for example, wants to outlaw gay marriage across America. Why would you want to take your own country back to the stone age instead of forward? You could be running the most powerful country in the world!!!
What does it have to do with you Rick?? How does it affect your life? How does it affect the day to day life of your family? How does it affect the general public?
Do I give a shit if heterosexual people are offended by gay people getting married?
NO.
So why should you?
I may not be American, even if it happened in my country I would be exactly the same. We all deserve the right to be equal.
Religion and politics should not mix.
Shame on you Rick Santorum.
I will not vote for a candidate who thinks you can ‘pray away the gay,’ I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that he has more rights to my uterus than I do, I will not vote for a candidate who thinks that it’s okay to dump toxic waste in the ocean.
I’m afraid for our country that people like this (current Republican candidates) could even be thought of as the president. I live in a country where I believe all men are created equal, not just wealthy white guys. I believe all men, all women, regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic background, you deserve the same rights. If that’s not where our country is going, then I’ll leave. I don’t need to live here. I’m out! I’ll go to Canada, peace! See you later.
